Julie Roberts, Worship Minister Julie Roberts is a worship minister, known for her vibrant woo-hoos, an English teacher - known for her love of alliteration, and a wife and a mother - known for loving intensely. Julie‘s been the worship minister at CCC for over 20 years. She is passionate about worship that celebrates and glorifies our great God. “When we gather for worship, we should not appear to be sitting in a dentist office waiting for a root canal… our God deserves our smiles, our tears, our laughter, our joy, our sorrow – everything we have when we walk into his presence, corporately, on Sunday mornings!” While worship ministry has been Julie’s long-time passion and profession, she returned to teaching a few years ago after a long hiatus as she and her husband, Roger, raised their 3 kids - Sadie, Ethan, and Spencer. She now enjoys both teaching and worship ministry. In her free time she likes to garden, cook, read, and go to the movies. She has an adorable grand-puppy named Rigby, who you will most likely meet if you’re around CCC for any length of time. Her family has grown with the addition of fabulous daughter-in-laws and family time is full and rich and fun! Julie is not perfect… quite flawed, in fact, but she does her best to live out this verse and lead our church in authentic, heartfelt worship. “Always be joyful. Never stop praying.
