Jeff Johnson, Senior Minister [email protected]
Jeff has been the Senior Minister at Cadiz Christian Church for the past 18 years. He and his wife Angi of 30 years have three beautiful and talented children who have practically grown up at CCC, experiencing all levels of the student ministries. His two daughters are married and working on their careers, one as an accountant and the other a mechanical engineer. His son just graduated high school and is planning to pursue a career as a welder. The two children who are still living locally actively serve at CCC. Their daughter in Nashville is just getting rooted there. She and her husband just started attending a church that reminds her of CCC. Jeff has a bachelor’s degree in Business and Communications from Milligan College in East Tennessee and a master’s degree from Cincinnati Christian University. While Jeff heard the call to ministry his senior year of high school, it was another nine years before he answered it. He says, “For some, God used a still, small voice; for others, God used a damp fleece outside his door; but for me, God needed a sturdy 2 x 4!” In addition to loving to preach and teach, Jeff is also passionate about fitness, nutrition, board games, drama, and art. Jeff's favorite verse is Ephesians 6:19-20:19 Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should. |
