Chris Lovan, Elder Chris was born in Jeffersonville, IN in 1969. He attended several different schools during his teenage years, in several states. He graduated from Jeffersonville High School 1987 and attended Sterling College in Sterling, KS where he played football and graduated in 1991. Chris returned to Indiana where he met and married his wife Amy in1994. They have two boys. Adam is a Junior at Indiana University. He is an intern and assistant wide receivers coach with the football program. Drew is a Senior at Shenandoah High School and plays both football and golf. Chris has coached football at all levels from youth league to junior high and high school at both New Castle and Shenandoah. He is currently coaching at Shenandoah High School. Chris feels that this is a great opportunity to be an example of what a Christian man looks like to young men who may or may not have that example elsewhere in their lives. Chris’s favorite verse is a combination of 2 verses, Psalms 24:4 and Psalms 139:14. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me: thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. |
